What To Expect
If you’re coming to Las Vegas looking for adventure, look no further than the high-flying trapeze at Trapeze Las Vegas! Each session starts with the basics of hanging by your knees, then releasing your hands when you’re comfortable, and by the end of the session…actually attempting a release and catch with one of our professional catchers! We’re willing to bet that you’ll amaze yourself!
Located just 1,000 feet from the Strip, the view from our platform is unbeatable. And, our early evening sessions will give you plenty of time to take in an exciting night out in Vegas!
Anyone can participate in our classes, regardless of previous experience or abilities. Don’t worry that you might not be strong enough. During the session, you will be taught everything you need to know for a successful adventure on the flying trapeze. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
From the moment you leave the ground until you land gently in our safety net, you will be always be wearing a harness and attached to safety ropes. For more information on how we keep you safe, check out our page on Equipment & Safety!
All first-time students are taught a trick alled the “knee hang.” The session will begin with a quick demo, where you will be shown the positions and timing for the trick. After practicing these positions on a stationary bar, low to the ground, you will attempt them on a full-sized flying trapeze! During the first part of the session you will practice the knee hang position for execution and timing. During the second part of the session, if you’re ready, you will attempt a mid-air connection, the “catch,” with our catcher on the other side of the flying trapeze rig.
Workout-type clothes: a t-shirt and tights or leggings are the ideal choice, or sweat pants if they’re not overly baggy. You should wear clothes in which you can move freely, yet they should not be so loose that they get in your way. Jeans are not recommended because they tend to be too tight, restricting range of motion. We discourage shorts because the backs of your knees will be more comfortable hanging on the bar if your skin isn’t bare. If you have long hair, tie it back. You must wear socks and shoes must be removed before flying on the trapeze.
We welcome adults and children, ages 6 and up. Our classes are not split by age, so adults and children can be part of the same session together. It’s a great thing to do as a family!
We have a limited number of spots in all of our sessions, so reservations must be made in advance. You can call 702-551-4858 or e-mail us anytime to make your reservations. Just know that the more notice you provide, the more availability we will be able to offer.
Sessions are ongoing, so you can begin at any time.
The platform from where you swing is 25 feet off the ground, but you are only 15 feet above the level of the net.
